Autumn Lightsaber Battle Royale 2007

The wind was crazy today. My dad and I headed down to the print shop to pick up some drawings for his work (they give out free M&M's there). I love going. We hunted dinosaurs along the way. I counted 10 in all, and I found a penny outside the post office. All in all it was a good 1 block ride.
But in the midst of a huge gust of wind, somewhere between dodging acorns and other small children not tethered down by tricycles, I came up with a new game. Lightsaber Battle Royale.
I told my dad to hit his rocketbooster and run home.
I didn't explain the rules to my dad so when I let out my blood-curdling scream I knew I had the upper hand. I grabed my lightsaber (tree branch with leaves still attached) and swung at him. He got lucky and blinded me with his camera. Not to be put down that easy, the chase ensued.

He's old, so I caught him after one lap of the house. I put a beat-down on him real good.
Until next year!

Weekend Getaway - Michigan

What am I a dog? Smile on command?
You've got to be kidding me.

I do give away hugs on command though. Kisses too.
DADDY! Stop throwing the football so far. This is totally tiring me out. I'm going to have to take a long nap to recuperate. Man, am I exhausted.
This is my Daddy,... my QB.
Me?, I'm number 81, the orginal 81.
Owens & Moss should get their popcorn out.

The many faces of Ashton...

Like manna from heaven... Fire Engines

Awesome, the ladder truck is here, cuz' I got a bugger they can help me get.
I'll be talking about this moment for months to come.
Whooooooooo, here comes the fire engine! That's all I said for about 5 minutes before my daddy pulled me off the truck. People were starting to give me strange looks.
Ok, now to the other side for 5 minutes.
Heaven is a place on earth.

Thank God I'm a country boy again...

I win. They gave up and just fed me smore's. I could get used to this.
This guy is awesome. He's telling everyone how to take a cow, plant some magic beans, grow a giant beanstalk, to get a goose that lays Golden Eggs... Dad, let's ditch this place and go sell that cow we saw for some beans. Let's GO!Someone beat us to it. The cow was gone.
I'll just sit here and wallow in my sorrow. All my dreams are shattered.

Thank God I'm a country boy...

Look Dad! A dinosaur!
Huh? What's a ladybug?
Darn.
Grandma came to visit and we got to go do all this neat stuff. This is Wagner Farm. I got to pet a cow. It scared the heck out of me. As soon as we walked up to it, it let out a loud, "Mooooooooooooo." Dad was pretty freaked out too. I'm not used to my meat talking like that.

One of the many barns on site. This is the one where I got to milk a cow. It's not that great. Once is enough. I don't think I need to do that again.

Instead of saying "cheese" I like to frustrate my parents.
Let's see how many I can get away with before they give up.

Potty Training

This is my potty chart. Every time I pee or poop on the potty I get a sticker.
What a rotten deal.

Creating things is beautiful says my daddy.
He says to always use protection too, so I put my hard hat on.

I want MY STICKER NOW!!!

King of the pretty painted metal plaything at the playground.

Mommy. She's hot.

Thomas the Train Day!

I can spell my name with blocks!

I moved on from the blocks to create this Thomas the Train Lego Masterpiece. Come one, come all, take a photo of Thomas and me.

Dad and I waiting for Thomas the train to steam by...

Mom showed me where the 'real' trains were. We even got to climb in them and walk back and see the diesel engines in back. Way cool.

6th Anniversary

Mom and Dad celebrating their 6th anniversary! Dinner was at the Yard House.
